Wanted to share these incredible photos of some moose spotted on the ranch this week, taken by the very handy (and talented!) CLU staff member, Bruce Jennsen. 

Winter is in full swing on the ranch and we are already seeing record snowfall this year.  All this snow means we're looking forward to some great Snowcat skiing and a wonderful holiday season!

Hi Friends!
You all might think I'm just an old, miniature donkey, but I am really quite technologically advanced.  I already have a Facebook page and a Twitter account, and now I'm starting this blog to tell you more about daily life at the C Lazy U Ranch.

What's new at the ranch? It's really beginning to look a lot like Christmas up here in Granby (and feels like it, too....BRRR!).  There's snow on the ground and lights in the trees.  I can't wait to see all of our old friends and new guests for Christmas and New Years. The summer is fun, but nothing beats sledding down the driveway or tagging along on sleigh rides through the meadow.  The best part is coming in from the cold to warm up with a cup of hot chocolate by the fire!

If you've never been to the Rocky Mountains in the winter, you are really missing out.  Not only do we have tons of great winter activities at the Ranch, but we are also just a quick 20 minute drive from Winter Park Resort where you can hit the slopes for some world class skiing and snowboarding!

We recently cleared the snow off the pond and are ready for some ice skating and hockey games...Grab your skates, I'll see you out there!
